  2. ^ There goes the maple lurve. The disappointment can be felt across the pond. Was your nostalgia over non-existant "madoobe dheere" worth losing your "inanka sanadka" title yaa Showqi?

  4. ^ For Sijuwis it's pipiip! For Qawdhans it's dhiidh!

  6. Carafat NGONGE does private work. He has Gaddafi and Mubaarak on his CV. Till recently he worked as hacker for Somaliland Press. Can't tell you who he works for in SOL coz this thread will be deleted before you even read my post.

  8. JB stop laughing about and put that O in salt bag. Even better jerrican that O for me please.
  9. Silly old lady thought she could turn herself "black" and keep her "white" privileges. It's a "It's big misunderstanding" kuteh! No it's not, it's your welcome to the black world. Your tanned kids are now at risk of being shot by the neighbourhood watch vigilante.
  10. We're the world, we're the children..
  11. NGONGE waa dhar-cad. I don't mean the white robes he famously wore on his Heathrow arrival, but something more sinister. Be careful people, be very careful.
  12. ^ Caalmadow is just part of Golis chain, isn't it?
  13. ^ You remind me of this...
  14. Lol@Norf I don't want that. Maybe Garta should do some "analytical thinking" while staring at that great photo.
  15. Oh oki. Ma isha uun baa kaga dhacday? In aad calaankan si yara funny ah u eegasay baan moodayay.
  16. Oh you do know what I mean. Calankan inagu wada filan ee ha iga xishoon inabti.
  17. ^ Heard about Ngugi since childhood and Wole for many years now. I'd recommend the book titled "anthology of east African poetry" by Amateshe for some less known but brilliant poets. If you don't like it, I'll give your £5 back.
  18. ^ I'm in the UK and she is the US. What I need help with is; how do I become the legal guardian and would that automatically give her the right to come over here?

It was used by Banaadiri folks to refer to other Soomalida, especially geeljiraha who used to wear laba go' cad cad, mid hoose iyo mid kor. They also used other slang terms, such as lamagoodle (laba go'le) and faradheer . I thought it meant "maryo leh" as in "the garmented". That makes sense because having laba go' for dressing hundreds of years ago can't be classified as clothes-less. As for the photo, can't see the face, but that looks like remarkable improvement from the dodgy stuff.. but I'll leave it for the experts.
  20. NGONGE, no time to play, the indha-yar are coming. Museveni and Mahiga are the government and their boys have already completed the 5-year "leave to remain". If Xaji Muuse Sudi does not stop this constitution, 4.5 will be 5.0 by the end of the year.
