OOdweyne,
why you keep hijacking my article?.
You probably didn't read what I said and jumped to your usual about me looking for a horse to ride. I never said I support Khayre candidacy or any of his future plans. I just stated the obvious weaknesses of Khayre and his strength. He always spoke well, whether that was just a bluster or sincere . I am just analyzing things here .
If someone asks me about Oodweyne , here is what I would say:
There is no one in SOL who writes English like Oodweyne. He seems Shakespeare in his eloquence and delivery , at the same time he is narcissistic man whose clock stopped in 1991. He is a man who refuses to look to the future where tribal ideology might not survive in 21st century.
I live in continental North America. My country Canada has 5 time zone. A mosaic and diverse nation between three oceans. My neighbor in the left of me is German, on the right is a black Caribbean, in the front an Irish and Ukrainian. Yet, this fool Oodweyne want me to think like a villager who should be quarreling dusty poor people who need water and basic services.
i never I understand how someone who lives among a collections of nations around the world would advocate to disintegrate a tiny nation in the horn Africa with no deep seated reason or cultural differences.. These so called Somali enclaves from Hargeisa to Garoowe, Hiiraan and Jubba would not have happened without the intervention of Ethiopia and its former leaders. Look at LIbya today. The local people want to manage their resources and have a representative democracy. Yet, those who want to steal its resources are empowering a renegade warlord.
As Sisi of Egypt decided not to send soldiers but create a tribal buffer zone by arming Libyan tribes. The same thing is happening in Yemen where UAE is arming a reprise entity. For me it is a simple as that. Anyone with geopolitical agenda could create a buffer and fake regions. I always believed that if can not have a united Somali state, then everyone must have their own way since tribes are confederates and the only thing that united us all is " Soomaalinimo". Yet, I do believe that things could be reversed if the right leader come along.
