OO, I agree, the Democrats have a deeper ties , yet they know how to manipulate public opinion. On the issue of oil imports the Americans will have enough oil for their consumption by 2020. Even some energy analysts say that they could be even net oil exporter by then. Trump has allowed oil drilling and shell gas pumping every where including Alaska wild refugee. He relaxed environmental regulations to energize the oil industry. $80–90 dollars per barrel could be acceptable to everyone. Remember, it was the oil boom that brought tens of thousands of Somalis to Alberta, Canada. Thousands of our people work in the oil industry and we need the prices to stay up. Furthermore, there is no need for Iran oil. If this stupid environmental bandwagon pushed on nations like Canada is thrown out , we good old Canada can pump few more million barrels and you wouldn’t need Iran or anyone else. Our prime minister Trudeau is a good man , but he has to dump these job killing environmental regulations or he will be thrown out of office next year.

There are differences between the nation of Saudi Arabia and it is rulers. The nation of Saudi is very important, the birthplace of prophet Mohamed and Muslims wholly place, the world oil-rich country and the heart of tribal middle east. In other hands, it is rulers as of form of 13-century European style kingdom which installed the British has been vulnerable and will be vulnerable in the modern time and that is the real issue that makes the relationship between the west in general and ruling family important. The west advocates a liberal world order but supported the Saudi ruler family and the rest of other monarchists in the region. this will be definitely the mystery and challenges of 21 century. Nothing stays the same for a long time and it will be interesting to see how the inventable changes affect the world, as the Saudi population increases and reforms have been a shortcoming. We already witness the new Ethiopian revolution, we will witness more Arab spring in the middle east as the world witnessed the French revolution

All Somaliland flags in all shapes and styles are here on this thread now. I am adding Djibouti flag. Tried to add new/old kililka flag and did not work. Either one or the other. Its great opportunity for Kililka people. It might even transform the economy of the kilil. Most of the logistical work, road work, gas stations, rest areas, trucking business until railroad is built in a decade or less is expected...It all looks good. Djibouti is very happy the business went to Somaliland and not Eritrea. So all in all good for the Somali people.

Don't sweat that my friend. The Saudis have America by the neck...money. The Saudis are not like us third world they are most wanted country even by Russia. British would love to have more role as they were before America displaced them. Democrats are actually more in the pocket than Republicans to the Saudis. If the price of oil goes over 100 then America could be in deep deep recession. All the Saudi need to do is blow up one of their lines and blame Iran or somebody...and Trump or anyone will be begging Iran to pump as much oil as they need. America would even remove its military from Iran borders. Nobody is going to risk anything this big for Kasshoggi. The Americans are making some noise just to cover the Yemen issue that is becoming bigger and bigger by the day. Failure is facing them and Saudis. All the exercise they did about Eritrea for the Hudeida..still empty. Now they have decided to send Africans..poor ones not known from which countries...Sudan is being mentioned by Eritreans maybe to hide theirs.

I don’t see what the fuss is in here. Af Maxaatiri and Af Maay are both languages of Somalia. The only differences is that Af Maxaatiri is a diluted language which is mingled with extraneous foreign languages. Every Af Maxaatiri speaker who carefully studies the etymology of the words they use in their language will quickly see how much of what he speaks is borrowed from other languages. But this does not make it a bad language or Af Maay necessarily a good language, because even Af Maay has elements other of languages such as Afaan Oromo. So this shouldn’t be shocking. Somalia location makes it a melting pot of languages, cultures and traditions. For instance, it is widely known that many Somalis trace their ancestry to the Arabian peninsula, so why would anyone begrudge them the fact that their Somali has many Arabic words infused in it... and so on and so forth. So this silly debate needs to stop.

MMA your job is very easy. All you have to do is show progress Somali government is making and the secessionists go crazy. I don't understand why they get upset when Mogadishu is making progress. After all the progress of Mogadishu is good for all Somalis.
