Lax walba shilka ay is dhigto ayaa lagu gawracaa... I do not have any issues with the people of Djibouti, after all, we are the same people. But their gov't is a difference story. Hopefully this challenge will lead the gov't in Djibouti to reassess and take a hard look at its policies specially towards Hargeisa.

If UAE does not find and hire Somaalis against Djibouti, Djibouti will be fine. He should contribute to stability in Somali and Afar kilils in Ethiopia with joint farms, giving the right to do business as Djibouti citizens for selected folks from both Kilils. Eritrea is lost cause. Eritrea has changed more masters than any other place in the horn of Africa. Persians, Ottomans, Egyptians, Italians, British and Ethiopia. The place never learns from history. They forget that empires come and go, but a neighbor a brother will be there long after empires are gone and new ones arrive. Eritrea is acting as if UAE and Saudi may never split, but will happen sooner than one realizes. Ghelleh just stay low and speed up economic works. Its very easy for your opponents to find unemployed youth, an article on NYT, few words from State Department officials...and you could be history for democracy human rights even faith since Wahabi are in alliance with your opponents.

The corruption and injustices of the previous Silanyo administration coupled with the subsequent state capture by a group of venal politicians —who arrogantly named themselves Jeegaan—are the main causes of these senseless inter-familial clashes that will not abate. Saaxiibyaal, the GX community are very miffed about the blatant theft of the recent elections by the Jeegan h@bros. I believe, they have had enough and are now unwilling to forgive this shameful theft and have opted to make running somaliland a living nightmare for Muuse Bidix. And the unfortunate thing about it all, is that Muuse lacks the necessary political acumen to placate this vast and important community nor is he even ready to make the sort of concessions that could maybe allay some of the anger the GX have toward his administration. I believe, unless Muuse agrees to a genuine power sharing agreement with the GX community whereby they get their rightful share of the power in Hargaysa...these destabilizing clashes will continually erupt and Muuse will have to finish his term under siege, both literally and figuratively.

Is that why some locals call him local? Mid ayaaba saldhigga loo taxaabay because of this.

The only way to fix this is for Muuse Biixi to resign . The opposition has tolerated 8 years of looting, corruption and nepotism for the hope of reversing through elections. From east to west people were tired Muuse and Siilaanyo, yet they stolen the ballot and came back again to continue their tribal looting. Muuse and company were banished from political arena some 25 years ago because of their tribal and gangster style behaviour, no one had expected for them to show up again and damage the wounds that healed. Our friend Xaaji knows this but decided to be a “Guulwade “ ignoring history and what happened in the past. Habruhu hadday rabaan in ay sii casheyaan afar maalmood oo kale , nabadna ku waraan inta wax isbedelayo, xukunka ha iska wareejiyaan. Haddii kale faanka iyo Huuhaada ha ku jiraan.

Suldaanku ina cumar geele maxuma reer Djibouti first of all our closet cultural kin and ilmadeero when we are reer Somaliland. But it's just politics. And port business Djibouti economy is based on port fees and revenues and military bases for regional and super powers. There are no other major technological industries and resources the country has. Laaakin our cuzas we need to stand with them against asmara dictator and his aggression and Ethiopia trying to undermine djibouti. Remember djibouti Is just flirting with koonfurians dembi kale may gelin agains us and I kinda understand they the leadership of Djibouti is not happy that we gain recognition and dislodge our selves from the koonfurian amisom and shabaab and piracy madness. Because it will put them in a akward positions berbera port is a major competition marka wa fahmi Kara. The Jesus clan kingdom of Djibouti

It's not often I agree with you but I am afraid you are right. Whatever our differences are, we are being encircled and it is not going to end well for us.
