Maanta uun bay u daraayeen oo yidhaahdeen ‘ceebay tacaal’ . Waxa la arki doonaa cidda Berbera ka talisa. Huuhaadda Barlamaanka Somalia xitaa foodleydda Adhi-jirta ah baa ku googaalaysan doonta! Hebeloow, Googaa; Heblaayooy, Cigale Heblaayo: Ma ii sheegi kartaa, wax iska hadla oo mooshin beenbeen oon awood lahayn u codeeya? Hebeloow: Taa cid waliba waa ogtahay, xitaa ’waxaraheena’ ayaa og oo waa Barlamaanka Somalia.

Ninkaan ayaa si macquul ah u hadlo, unlike madaxweyne ku sheega sida mööryaanta camal u hadlo, u dhaqma, oo islaamaha ilmeeysiiye. No wonder he is a muqayil marqaanle weynaaday kaas. Eniwey, this man makes much sense politically.

Maan, this is one of the top political cartoons by Amiin Caamir, if not the top three of all time by him. I had seen and enjoyed his political cartoons about maryooleey since 1991 when he used to draw the editorials for Shabeelle Press that was published in Muqdisho in those days. In those days, his favourite subjects were jabhadaha geeljiraha Xamar soo galay with their geels and geel mentality. I was 11-12 years old then and I remember asking whoever was going to suuqa Bakaaraha to buy for me the latest Shabeelle Press.

Lol... Someday soon that Cow will lunge out with a vicious kick at Biixi Ooyaye’s face and send him back to the dingy, fart scented Marfash from whence he crawled out of; crying like a babe in need of motherly comfort. Maybe, Ina Cawil Mucjiso, shall oblige him...

The Arabs don’t care much about building successful thriving ports in Berbera and Bossaso. All they want to do is forestall Turkish ambitions in the Horn. If they were serious about these ports they would have equally played a hearts and minds game like the Turks do—to gain the support of the Somali people, but they really bungled it up when DP World CEO made seemingly unprofessional statements challenging the unity and sovereignty of the Country. So we shall see what their next moves will be.

DP World does not have any money to spare. THey are pinching every penny in Berbera. The freight that used to came through Wajaale is no more. People are broke from Berbera to Wajaale. They have fired already a third of the workforce. The intension of DP is to hold Berbera as ransom until other issues including the geopolitical issue of Djibouti , Aden (Yemen) and Somalia is resolved. THey will suck the money out of Berbera and throw few bucks to the ruling class without investing any real money. Hoe can an agreement will be signed in spring of 2017, and then again in 2018 with another agreement. The fact is that Siilaanyo and those hungry boys cashed few millions for a port that is worth half a billion dollars. Muuse Biixi could not find one single region in Somaliland to support this move. Mogadishu even told him that there will not be any useless talks in Djibouti or any where else. That was probably the main reason he was crying.

"Dooni mayno DP World" Few months ago, people in Puntland also protested the same way with violence. There is something about DP World that makes the Somalis feel uneasy.

OO, Stay with the topic. No one can raise their head and even say any thing nice about the gulf boys these days. In fact, the Somali knifes are out these days. Is that what Ethiopia is relying on these days?. Other than few sesionists everyone is in line. We Somalis might be tribal in some cases, but in terms of liberty and sovereignty , we are more united than anyone. I talk to people from different background and they all speak the same voice on these issues. I know you like talking about Somaliland or Puntland or that regions or something similar, or make the Somali issue as a balkanized . At this In this juncture Somalis are different. If you check social media, there are a whole new group of young men and women who are nationalist despite hailing from different parts of the country. Please do not rai on our parade because when we are united, we could move mountains. If those who want to dethrone Gaas are Faroole and his minions, I will stick to C/weli Gaas. He supports Farmaajo and the national project. I think , Gaas should give Boosaaso to the Turks or Singapore. America is broke.

They put him in very difficult place. He can't seem to side with Emirates,he pissed others with Tukuraq situation and political heavy weights are lining to dethrone him. The question what would SFG do for regions like Puntland?
  16. 1 point
Puntland is under tremendeous pressure from every side of Somali regions and country. Unless Mr. Farmaajo has done a lot of work behind the scene, his government will not do well with Puntland. He better share a lot of money the SFG gets with Puntland. Congratulation to you also. That is what most people wanted SFG to do and then move on.
