"waar odaygii doonoo duco ugu dara waad na dubateene" Galbeedi's concerns about this water project were often dismissed as nonsense. Time to find him and loo duceeyo. It is shocking that 370 million dollars are missing. Where is all that money?

These key questions should be asked: 1. Where is the money? 2. What is their plan B? 3. Why did they not conduct proper survey and research before the project started years ago? 4. What were they doing all these years? 5. Who will take responsibility for the failure and face the consequences? 6. What lessons will be learned from this fiasco? 7. Why did they tell so much lies to the people about this project?

Somaliland:University of Hargeisa Goes DotSo of the Somalia Federal Government! The Republic of Somaliland’s state-owned, state-run University of Hargeisa (UOH) goes under the official Somalia Federal Government domain DotSo (.so). Permission for use of FGS domain was granted UOH by the Somalia National InformationCommission – SONIC – and the contact address is retained by it, with the technical email remaining under the official admin@sonic.gov.so (the gov standing for the Somalia Federal government). The University of Hargeisa has in the past used domains ending with DotCom or DotNet, maintaining its independence and identity as a Somaliland university. Inexplicably, the UOH chooses to share the official Somalia domain .So with the University of Somalia (www.uniso.edu.so), Mogadishu University (www.mu.edu.so), SIMAD (www.simad.edu.so), Kismayu University (www.ku.edu.so), and all the rest of Somalia-owned universities. Unlike the UOH, Puntland universities, which rightly fall under the Somalia Federal Government, choose to remain with their .Com and .net domains: PSU (Garowe): www.puntlandstateuniversity.com, East Africa University (Bossasso): www.easafricauniverrsity.net. The University has been on the up-and-up since 2003 stepping on to an upward-inching path to excellence which led to the new leadership taking the reins following a sputtering period the university suffered. Under the new administration that has taken over the university helm some three years ago, the university has made a number of changes most of which, hitherto, going the right direction. It, to cite but one example, joined African and international university associations to lend credence to its accreditations. It also stepped up its postgrad programs and gave a complementing facelift to its main campus. Of late, a great deal of shady, little-known developments had been surfacing that none of which has been submitted to or approved by a hodge-podge university council that, itself, hardly comes together. An investigation into how many other deals has the UOH going with Mogadishu is, certainly, in order. The current UOH leadership, in this latest development, crosses the education border over to an area that squarely lays them bare to criminal litigation and a possible indictment on high treason. The Republic of Somaliland restored its 1960 independence in May 1991, following a thirty-year domination and untold of suffering in the union it joined with Somalia on 1 July 1960. Somaliland towns and cities were totally demolished, hundreds of thousands fled over to Ethiopian refuge centers and equal numbers died, were maimed or suffered irreparable traumas under the brutal Somalia-dominated, military regime of General Siyad Barre.

I found some information on DP World's contract with Somaliland on Berbera Port. I can't see how this contract survives once Somaliland gains confidence and starts to get on a better financial footing. It is going to be rejected by future governments. Same re-negotiations battles will start. DP World shall control 46% of the joint venture Somaliland shall control 35% of the joint venture Ethiopia shall own 19% of the joint venture. DP World originally had 65% controlling stake before it sold 19% to Ethiopia. DP World shall control five board seats out of the seven total. Not sure how many seats Ethiopia will now get after buying a stake from DP World. Somaliland shall have 2 seats on the board. DP World shall pay $5 million a year plus 10% on port revenue to Somaliland for the duration of the contract. DP World shall support Somaliland’s fisheries industry DP World shall help build the road between Somaliland and Ethiopia DP World shall build a four-star hotel in either Hargeisa, the capital of Somaliland, or Berbera; DP World shall grant Somalilanders favorable migration terms to work in Dubai. DP World shall implement a free-trade zone to support the development of trade through Berbera

if DP world takes 90% of port revenue? for how long? After development, 10% could be way more than SL collects currently from the port but still this deal is very generous for DP. Get the Chinese and see what they offer.

Corruption is Somali-wide problem. It goes on because people tolerate it.

(SNM) - the formation of an armed movement for the sole purpose of overthrowing long time Somali dictator by military means. 1. The Rebirth of Somaliland: History of Somaliland 2. The Rebirth of Somaliland: The Process Of The Union And The Act Of Union 3. The Rebirth of Somaliland: Northern Mistrusts And Discontents: Origins And Emergence Of Early Signs 4. The Rebirth of Somaliland: The 1961 Aborted Military Coup 5. The Rebirth of Somaliland: The Formation Of The SNM And Liberation Struggle 1 I think that it is too early to start the process of rewriting history. Most Somalis still know it is "Somali National Movement". Moreover, this issue brings forward the striking pattern among many clan-centered organizations in Somali Peninsula, that of prioritizing clan unity over organization's mission. SNM would have taken a different a position in the mid-1990 talks and would have had a different international reaction to its declaration of independence in 1991.

It is very good that at least this official is honest, and still not trying to lie to people. Talaabo, there is no accountability, and mostly SOMALIS will forget and the next project may even face same faith.

It doesn't have to work. You are incapable of seeing or imagining any other thing. Irrational thoughts have taken over your mind making it devoid of any reason or nuances. In fact, I can say with high degree of certain, your 'argument' will follow a pattern, so predictable that it can become pointless. A Russian bot makes better sense.

The folks like @Miskiin-Macruuf-Aqiyaarand his likes would crawl out of their holes for Naceema Qorane, a girl who is in her own city with her own people and her own land. But they will go mute on when their soldiers are killed like a cockroach by AMISOM occupying forces.

Does anyone realize Ducale and Oodweyne post replies within minutes of each other? Ducale aka less paranoid Oodweyne 2.0 You managed to break a record. Within your short time, your laser focus attention onto Farmajo's tol have managed to outpace everyone else. That's no small feat considering how intertwined qabiil and politics are.
